Straight up the A60
From our base it's a straight run up the A60 through Redhill and past Ravenshead into Mansfield. If you've broken down anywhere along that road you're on our way, and the closer you are to Nottingham, the less travel there is to pay.
Off the M1 at junction 28
Coming from the M1, the A38 runs east from junction 28 into Mansfield. If you break down on it, get into a layby or side road if you safely can, put your hazards on, and wait somewhere away from the traffic.
The wooded stretch of the A60
South of Mansfield the A60 is a fast road through woodland, with long gaps between places to stop and no house numbers to go by. If you break down there, get as far over as you safely can and send us a pin from your phone rather than trying to describe where you are.

Getting to Mansfield
Our call-out covers the first 10 miles from our NG5 base. The middle of Mansfield is about 3–6 miles past that, so travel adds about £3–£6 by day or £4.50–£9 at night, on top of the prices below. It’s less if you’re on the Nottingham side, and we agree the total with you before we set off.
