Stop-start cars need an EFB or AGM battery, not a standard one. We match the battery to your vehicle, and give you a price from your reg before we come out.

We fit it where you are and use our diagnostic equipment to set it up, including registering the new battery on cars whose battery management system needs it.

We start the vehicle, re-check the charging and make sure everything's working as it should before we go.

How do I know if my battery needs replacing?

Slow starts, needing jump starts, a battery warning light or stop-start that's stopped working are all common signs. Batteries often last around five years, less with lots of short trips. Our test tells you for sure.

What are EFB and AGM batteries?

They're heavier-duty batteries built for cars with stop-start and lots of electronics. If your car came with one, it needs one again. A standard battery will fail early and can cause stop-start faults.

How much does a new battery cost?

Do you fit leisure batteries in caravans and campervans?

Yes. We can test and replace leisure batteries as well as vehicle starter batteries. Tell us the make and model, and the battery if you know it, when you get in touch.
